A Study in Light and Shadows.

A man begins in earnest
Looking to do good,
His goals were modest
Determined he understood.
The darkness he would lighten
But the specter threatened all,
He advanced in fearsome fortitude
And watched as darkness falls,
He shined as the old world renewed.
Changing us forever he left his mark
Without him here we fear the shadows of the dark.
