About Mischief Memoirs

I post a mishmashy collection of creative and occasionally opinionated thoughts mostly in the shape and form of poems singing and dancing in tune with my art and photography. Every image and poem I post comes from my mischievous brain matter (using tools I have managed to get from the human world). So most definitely, kind of, possibly, maybe, have some fun, and enjoy my blog!

  12. I am mesmerized by your profile drawing. I can only assume you were the artist that created such a wonderful work of art. The walls in my apartment are generally bare because there is no art that I would deem worthy of placing upon them. I would definitely love to have this image on my wall.

What do I see within it? The true beauty of a woman along with the beauty of the strong, intelligent spirit within the woman. Towering above the world around her with confidence, not only in her own beauty but in that which is within her. Some men might like a picture of a nude woman in a vulnerable position upon their wall. Not me. I would rather have an image that portrays the true beauty of a woman. Which causes me to sit and contemplate, not only on her, but what she represents, which is within us all, both men and women.

  17. Hello, anna!
You have a zany, insightful, bright mind–that spills out all over the paper when you sketch/doodle and when you put words together into poetry. A way of seeing behind what we say and the way we present ourselves. Powerful stuff. Thanks so much for the follow. I’m grateful, and glad to have you along for the ride.
    Cheers!

  43. You’re keeping it together, holding it, caressing it. Clinging tightly to a feeling that won’t burn, won’t change. It freezes in your hands, your power becomes unknown yet pure. You believe.
