I can’t help but think of a lone hero (man or woman, it doesn’t matter) fighting (against all odds) a power, perhaps manifested in a malevolent artificial intelligence inhabiting an almost indestructible robot body, that (near the end of the story) the hero asks (rhetorically) “Are you ready to feel”? and then with some kind of heavy duty weaponry blows it to kingdom come.
Feelings are scary but along with the bad can sometimes okay a lot of times comes good ones too. If only the bad didn’t have to come along…
