I am human.

My pain is scary,
My body hairy
My eyes are teary,
My mind weary
My dreams are tall,
My time small
What is wrong with me?
I am human.

  3. As someone else noted, the line “My dreams are tall, my time is small” is an especially good line. It’s a wonderful ‘take-away’ line from this poem that will stay with you.

  11. Wow. Every, single emotion in that poem can be seen directly in the tired eyes of the drawing. Very nice!

  12. A human being. With hopes and dreams, tears to weep and memories to keep. Time eludes us, stretches us, but we hold steadfast. Clinging to a our younger days. Our inner child. Laugh, cry, be free. Be human!
