  2. Heh, your entry reminds me of a discussion I had at my former workplace about doctors not giving women tubal ligations before a certain age. I said that an article mentioned the doctors being “paternalistic,” while my boss indignantly said, “No! They’re just wanting the best for these women. They may change their minds. Or…the doctors could get sued if the women change their minds, after the fact. Who knows…”
