I found our end in a frozen embrace,
Tucked in by an insomniac’s favorite lullaby,
Eyes wide open now; I cannot blink,
No single thought remains
and what remains of me is indistinct.
The film of moisture hardens and the edges of my vision darken…
I become a type of poison thought extinct.
But I have dropped my hope,
No point in searching for it now,
Maybe someone else can hold it close and keep it safe?
Because there is nothing left that can restore my faith
My eyes will see it all
And all within will spill without
Ink stained and messy I’ll sign my name,
Good bye, Bad Bye.
