I want to say hi,

To days that will demand

A heightened try,

For a future that will command

My empathetic eye.

I want to say goodbye,

To the days that banned

My very own cry,

Letting go the past that was fought

For a peace that war never brought.

    Well combined inspirational words with moral lessons. Some poems do speak to us, but I wonder if we listen to them.
