My pain is scary,
My body hairy

As someone else noted, the line “My dreams are tall, my time is small” is an especially good line. It’s a wonderful ‘take-away’ line from this poem that will stay with you.

A human being. With hopes and dreams, tears to weep and memories to keep. Time eludes us, stretches us, but we hold steadfast. Clinging to a our younger days. Our inner child. Laugh, cry, be free. Be human!
